Welcome to the Central Utah County Area

The central portion of Utah County is a bit sleepier than the northern end. There is still modern commerce coming into the area (tech, healthcare, etc.) but the lifestyle is a bit slower.

The bigger cities in the area, Provo and Orem, are very much the quintessential college towns. Brigham Young University and Utah Valley University students enjoy the entertainment venues that these cities provide, while still enjoying the down-home, family atmosphere of the towns – even though they are away from their own home.

The cities, towns, and neighborhoods that make up Utah County Central include:

Living in the Central Utah County Area

Typically referred to as Utah Valley, this area has everything that Salt Lake offers but with a much more serene environment. They have performing arts, a new state-of-the-art recreation center, summer and winter festivals, modern libraries and plenty of outdoor recreation.

Most of Utah County Central runs along the shores of the Utah Lake. This allows for beautiful views as well as convenient access to activities like golfing, camping, fishing, equestrian, off-road vehicles, climbing, hiking, biking and canyoneering.

The other communities that dot I-15 are filled with small town values, picturesque neighborhoods and tons of charm.
